Nestled in Swansea's SA1 district by the River Tawe, The River House boasts captivating waterfront views. With food and drinks designed to complement the stunning surroundings, the final touch was creating the perfect atmosphere.

Preserving the existing ceiling lighting layout, we made subtle changes and additions, such as new wine racks, while upgrading to low-energy LED replacements resulted in a remarkable 90% reduction in energy usage and cost. Streamlining the lighting controls, we consolidated numerous switches into a few dimmers for each zone, offering a simpler way to set the ideal ambiance for diners.

To enhance the modern aspects of the Grade-II listed former ice factory, color-changing LED strip lighting was strategically installed around the bar and exposed steelwork. Controlled by a wall-mounted color wheel, bar staff can effortlessly adjust color and intensity, adding a contemporary touch.

Our scope expanded beyond lighting, encompassing alterations to the CCTV, till, and networking systems. Additionally, we introduced a 3-zone Sonos music system featuring Bowers & Wilkins, JBL, and Monitor Audio speakers. This dynamic solution allows staff to curate complementary music for each area, ensuring an ideal background for every diner and visitor.
